Week 20: Doing more Research and Planning the Video Essay
I did some more reading, but couldn’t go through all of them because this text is a lot more wordier than the last one. Plus I’m only selecting some part of the book to read so sometime it’s difficult to understand what the author is talking about when they refer back to the previous chapters very often. I decided to take a break from that and look at some video essay to get some inspiration for my own video essay.
Above on the left is an example that I really like found through the material given by tutors. In addition to that, I also found Daniel Saul’s video essay lecture inspiring. I think that what both of the video essays have in common is the ability of engaged the audience, the way they structure, communicate and present the idea is what I want to learn and take away from. Aside from that, I also found some of my own video essay examples to look at.
