Week 17 : Class Discussion/ Idea generation
During today class, we were told to write down anything that we want to research about, our area of interest. It was difficult to write anything down since the topic is so broad. However after going into small groups and listening to other people talk, I manage to wrote something down as seen on the image on the left handed side.
At first, I was certain about not writing an essay that analyses films as from my past experience, I found it tedious and unoriginal. However, upon reading the brief fastidiously I came to realised that the requirement is to “analysing an audio-visual artifact or process”. As my interest contradictory lies in watching films, I had a feeling that I will end up analysing films again.
Therefore, I began to look through the materials that was given in the CTS unit page and find any topic that peak my interest. What I came across that catches my attention was Psychoanalysis as I felt that it linked nicely with a TV series that I recently watched “Sweet Home”.
