Week 19 : Photobash/ Screen Design
Above is a photobash created to get a better sense of the mood/vibe of the environment for the project. I wanted to create the abandon city look, while I was creating this I want to show how the streets of the city are not maintained and how it is slowly coming to ruin. However, the story behind this work suggested that people haven’t completely left the city, they are just in a strict lockdown, so much that not one is allowed outside. Therefore, since there isn’t any direct physical damage done to street, it was difficult to get a balance of how much the streets should look destroyed.
These are some screen designs made to create a video that would be tracked to the screens within the city footage. As the original screen shows advertisement and fan video made to celebrate Thai celebrities’ birthday, it doesn’t fit the more dark and solemn vibe of our project. The video made will be on the disease that had wrecked the city presumably broadcasted months ago. This will be shown by how the video kept glitching as well.
