Research: Initial Ideas

During this week, I was first introduced to the project and read through the brief. At first, I had some initial thoughts about the style and environment that I would want to create from things that I watched and noted down for my summer task.

However, after the discussion in the online class where we had to create a mindmap and exchange ideas. I was able to focus more on the topic of the task: Portraiture, and hence I wrote down things about myself that I find intriguing and want to explore.

After the class discussion, I really related to an idea that one of my classmates suggested on the lack of speech or freedom in speech. This reminds me of the ongoing protest in my home country, where young students are fighting for democracy and for Prayuth the current Prime Minister to resign. Therefore I added that idea and also explained more on the ideas and why I might want to build on them.
